Working from your hotel room in Ciudad Bolívar
· 5 min read

Reports, video calls and orders at the end of the day. What a room actually needs so the work does not end up being done in bed.
There is a part of a work trip nobody talks about: the two hours at night when you have to file the day's reports, answer email and prepare tomorrow's schedule.
That part happens in the room. And the room decides whether it is bearable or miserable.
A desk, not a bedside table
It is the first thing you miss. A firm surface at the right height, with room for a laptop and some paper beside it.
Our Double Room has a full-length wooden desk with a work chair. The Double Room with two double beds and the Quadruple Room give you room to work without unpacking the whole case.

Air conditioning that works
Ciudad Bolívar stays between 23 °C and 37 °C all year. Working two hours in a hot room is not a comfort question: it is the difference between performing the next day or not.
Every one of our rooms has independent air conditioning.
Connectivity
We have WiFi available to guests at no additional cost throughout the hotel.
One honest piece of advice for important video calls: always keep a fallback on your mobile data. That is good practice in any hotel anywhere, not just here.
Dinner without going out
At nine at night, after a day of appointments, going out to find food is what finishes you off. We offer room service, and our front desk will recommend somewhere to eat close to the hotel.
A front desk at any hour
A call to take, a message to leave, a delivery to receive. Our front desk is staffed 24 hours.
Book the right room
If you are going to work at night, choose for the desk rather than the first night's price. The difference pays for itself in the quality of the following day.
